Shey Je Boshe Ache - Ornob(bangla)
Hi all... this is the TAB for Shey Je Boshe Aache by Arnab, and this is the single most reqested song these days, so here we are. A wonderfully catchy tune with simple yet deep lyrics which makes it what's called an earworm.
There's been a lot of controversy about the correct chordings, and so I'll try to explain as much as possible, meantime please bear with me. Trust me, it's worth it.
Here's the lyrics --
verse 1:
shey je boshe aachhe eka eka
rongeen shopno taar bunte
shey je cheye aachhe bhoraa chokhe
jaanalaar phaake megh dhorte
chorus 1:
taar goon goon moner gaan baatashe ghore
kaan paato mone paabe shuntey
taar ronger tulir naache megheraa chhote
chokh melo jodi paaro bujhte
verse 2:
shey je boshe aachhe eka eka
taar shopner kaarkhaana cholche
aar buro buro megheder dol
brishti namaar taal goonchhe
chorus 2:
shei goon goon moner gaan brishti namaae
top top photaa pore onekkhon
shei brishti bhejaa more daak diyechhe
bhejaa kaak hoye thaak amaar mon
outro:
(shey je boshe aachhe... )
(shey je boshe aachhe... )
=====================================
the basic chording is as follows --
verse parts:
--------E------------B--------
shey je boshe aachhe eka eka
C#m-----------------A------
rongeen shopno taar bunte
--------E------------B--------------
shey je cheye aachhe bhoraa chokhe
C#m-------------------A-------
jaanalaar phaake megh dhorte
that is, you have E-B-C#m-A
* The first chord is a major chord and it's the home chord of this song, which is definitely E(022100), not D or D# or anything else.
* The second chord is either B(224442), or Badd11(x24440)
(Badd11: add the 11th note, ie. 4th note; in this case, E, to the basic B major chord). Again, there's another voice going it's a C#m(which is a part of Amaj7), and I'm in for this one. Another bunch insist that a G#m will also do, but I strongly disagree. G#m is not the chord irrespective to be in any verse or chorus parts.
bottom line: play any of these chords -- Badd11(correct), C#m, Amaj7
* The third chord is, without any doubt, A major. Only either it's a plain A major(with the note C# in bass), or Amaj7(with the note C# in bass).
* The fourth chord is invariably Amajor(002220), only in can be Amaj7. In any case, the bass note is A as opposed to C# from the last measure.
chorus parts: same progression as verse parts.

I could have TABbed the solo part as well, but I won't.
Some things are worth trying on your own, don't you agree?
Some hints, though...
* try using as many slide as possible.
* if you're using a processor, try a clean tone which generates the note an octave higher.
* if not, play two notes simultaeniously, one octave to other on 1-3, 2-4 or 3-5 strings --
e|--------------------------------|
B|----------7--9--7\5-7-/@--\9----|
G|-6--/!\9------------------------|
D|----------4--6--4\2-4--9--\6----|
A|-4--/9\7------------------------|
E|--------------------------------|
or on 1-4 or 2-5 strings --
e|----------2--4--2\0-2--7--\4----|
B|-2--/7\5------------------------|
G|--------------------------------|
D|----------4--6--4\2-4--9--\6----|
A|-4--/9\7------------------------|
E|--------------------------------|
* the given figure is the first phrase from the solo.
The entire solo is based on the E major pentatonic scale.
* mute when necessery.

Hope this helps.
All stanzas same chords prog. continues.
